Long known for their outstanding customer service, Portland Boat Works continues to meet the diverse needs of boaters throughout New England and several Mid-Atlantic States.

As dealers for new Post and Tiara Yachts, two of the quality names in boating, Portland has distinguished itself annually as one of the region's top dealers in both sales and customer service.  In addition to new

boats, one can usually find a good selection of quality pre-owned yachts at Portland. Sales people are available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Sunday by appointment. Sea trials are also available by appointment only.      

Portland is conveniently located on the Connecticut River, a short distance from Long Island Sound. Its accessibility and year-round service facility have made the yard a popular stopover for families cruising Long Island Sound. In addition to fuel and a full-time service department, Portland can haul yachts up to 60 tons on its Brownell self propelled trailer. Its eight service bays are fully enclosed and heated for off season maintenance and repairs.

The yard normally winterizes and stores over a hundred large yachts each year in their fully-enclosed storage sheds.

There are some forty seasonal slips of varying size available on a first come first serve basis, along with a well-maintained launch ramp. Basic marine supplies can be purchased at Portland's convenient ship's store.
